Automated-Agent.com was started in May 2017 and is owned by Veritas Software Group LLC. The head office is located in Scottsdale, AZ.
No, but it’s the perfect place to keep one! If you have a will, you may upload it to your secure vault account, and we’ll ensure it reaches your intended recipients when the time comes.
No. Automated-Agent however does give you the facility to upload one. If you need assistance with preparing your legal documents, please refer to our Preferred Partners page.

Registration & Setup

You can register with Automated-Agent.com by using our registration page. ​After filling in your details, and accepting the terms and conditions, you will then receive an email with a link that you must click to activate your account (please check your spam folder!). This will complete your registration.
You will then have access to your account and will be able to log on the next time you visit by using your registered email address and password.
Our offerings include a free plan, as well as annual or lifetime paid memberships for added features and storage space.

Automated-Agent allows you to import existing password data from various sources, including LastPass, the SnazDash Windows app, or any others that allow the export to a CSV file format...

Automating your connection with the Automated-Agent server is a recommended but optional thing you can do to keep your active status without the need to explicitely log in on a regular basis. Maintaining an active status is important so our server knows that your contacts do not need to be alerted.

Regardless of how you choose to remain active, you will always receive a notification email several days (configurable) before your contacts are alerted, at which time you will have the option to opt out and cancel any scheduled outgoing email activities.


For Windows devices, please follow the 3 steps below:

  1. Click here to download your configuration
  2. Click here to download the setup application, in the same directory
  3. Right click on the 'SetupConfig.exe' file downloaded in Step 2, and select 'Run as administrator'.
    You are done!
  4. Only do this if you have trouble running the automated configuration utility from Step 2:
    Open the Windows task scheduler:
    • Click on the Windows "Start" button
    • Open the All apps list from the left of the Start menu (or scroll if you've configured it to show on the tiles page)
    • Click the "Windows Administrative Tools" folder
    • Choose "Task Scheduler"

    Import the file you downloaded from step 1:
    • From the left hand side panel, right click on "Task Scheduler", then select "Import Task..."
    • Browse to the location of the xml file downloaded in Step 1, and select this file.
      A "Create Task" window should appear with prepopulated default values.

    Modify the task:
    • Select the "Triggers" tab, then the "Edit..." button
    • Under "Specific user" radio button, select your user account (or keep the default if no one else uses your Windows device)
    • Click OK
    • Click OK again to save the task. You are all set! You may close the task scheduler window.

For non-Windows devices, you may configure your browser start page to use the following URL link.
Accessing this page on a regular basis will ensure you will remain in active status with the Automated-Agent server:



Once your account is created, for the best user experience with the web portal, we recommend:

  • creating a shortcut to the web portal (Automated-Agent.com) on your Windows desktop or task bar - Show me how

  • accepting the use of cookies by clicking on the 'Accept' button at the bottom of your screen on your first use of the Automated-Agent.com web site. Cookies enable certains convenience features of the web portal such as auto-signin, remembering which page you were on during a previous session, remembering your sort order preferences, etc.

  • if you are primarily using your account on a private computer/device, you may want to automatically stay signed-in to the web portal (there is a check box on the login screen to that intent). This will allow you to bypass the web portal login screen to access your account, and all your passwords within one mouse click of your Windows shortcut.

    Please be aware that this convenience comes at the cost of security, meaning that anyone having access to your computer/device could also access your account. The optional & opt-in automatic sign-in will stay in effect for 1 year, or until you explicitely sign-out, or your browser's cache is cleared.
    If you so choose, you may need to configure your web browser to not clear its cache or cookies -

    Google Chrome
    Go to: Settings >> Advanced >> Privacy and security >> Site Settings >> Cookies >> Allow >> Add "www.Automated-Agent.com" as an autorized site

    Edge
    Go to: Settings >> Privacy & Security >> Clear browsing data >> Choose what to clear >> uncheck the box "Cookies and saved website data"

    Firefox
    Go to: Options >> Privacy & Security >> Cookies and Site Data >> uncheck the box "Delete cookies and site data when Firefox is closed"

    Opera
    Go to: Settings >> Advanced >> Privacy & Security >> Content Settings >> Cookies >> Allow >> Add "www.Automated-Agent.com" as an autorized site

    If you prefer not to use the auto-sign in feature, please be aware that the web portal is designed to automatically sign you out after 20 minutes of inactivity, for your security.

Account

To create a new password, follow this link then enter the email address associated with your account. You will then receive an email within 15 minutes (check your spam folder!) with a link to enter a new password. Once confirmed, you will be able to log in once again.
You can change your password after logging in. To do this, go to My account > Login & Security > Change password.
You can change your email address after logging in. To do this, go to My account > Login & Security > Edit button for your email.
While we hope you might reconsider, to close your account, you may go to My account > Account Management > Close Account.
Please note that once your account is closed, all of your data will be permanently deleted from the Automated-Agent.com portal!

Privacy & Security

Yes. At Automated-Agent.com, security is our top priority to ensure your data is always protected.

When you use the web portal, as a registered user, a secure connection is made using an TLS/SSL certificate. A secure TLS/SSL connection is recognizable by the https in the URL (web address bar) and an icon in the status bar of your browser.

If you opt for a paid subscription plan, please note that our payment gateway is fully PCI compliant. Automated-Agent.com does not save your credit card information, and use a process called 'tokenization' for automatic annual subscriptions.

To further secure your data, we use a combination of, but not restricted to the following:
  • encryption of your data on our private servers (including files that you upload)
  • data segregation
  • captcha verifications (both client and server side)
  • security questions/answers
  • emails verification
  • links that expire
  • logging and tracking of users IP addresses
